The Hillsborough Arts Council is the official Hillsborough, NC Arts Council endorsed by The Town of Hillsborough and The North Carolina Arts Council. The Council is incorporated in the state of North Carolina as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

For over twenty years, the Hillsborough Arts Council has been serving the arts and cultural needs of the Hillsborough community through a diversity of initiatives and services.

The council is primarily a volunteer organization whose role is to meet the arts and cultural needs of the Hillsborough, NC community. In addition, the council supports the arts and enhances the community through education and by organizing events that feature local artists for the enjoyment and education of the general public.

Fine art and fine craft gallery exhibiting contemporary and traditional
artworks. Artworks include painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography,
fiber, jewelry, glass, metal, encaustics, enamels, watercolors and turned wood.
